Quantitative Aptitude:This section is one of the easiest sections for those who love it but for some it’s a nightmare and created problem at each and every step. To score well in this section you need to practice lot of short tricks, because solving questions is another part but solving a question in that time interval is the thing that matters most. And apart from learning short tricks learn the formulas are also try to remember the tables, squares, square root, cubes and cube root of numbers.
English Comprehension:It is one of the sections which can either make you or break you, it is one of the section in which most of the students find difficult to score. This section includes questions like comprehension passage antonyms, synonyms; fill in the blanks, error detection, idiom phrases and many more. To score well in this section try to read English newspaper daily. Reading newspaper daily will not only improve your English but also keep you updated of the latest news which will help you in the general awareness section.
Reasoning:Reasoning is one of the easiest sections of the paper. In this section with very little efforts you will be able to score good marks. This is the section which will help you to be in the competition, this section contains questions like number or alphabet series, mirror or water image, paper folding matrices etc.
General Awareness:It is one of the section in which most candidates fails to score good. In this section any score close to 60-70%would be consider good. To score good in this section try to read about Indian history, geography various constitutionals acts, and don�t forget to read about science if you want a good score in this section because most of the questions of this section are from science.
By previous year paper you will get an idea of the Difficulty Level. Before starting preparation for an examination, you must be well versed with the difficulty level of the questions asked in that particular examination. Previous years papers are the best source to get an idea regarding that since they are the most authentic source available.
The biggest mistake that most of the candidate make is giving too much preference to some section. They have to know that each section carry equal marks and you have to score in each section to crack the exam
Remembering only short tricks:
Another mistake that many candidates make is that they rely too much on short trick, and ignore the basics of that topic and when in exam the question is modified they fails to answer, so learn short trick but don�t ignore the basics of that topic.
Practicing offline:
Many students practice only offline and thus they find it hard to deal with technical stuff at the time of exam.
